Considering how well Halloween Resurrection went down, it shouldn't be too surprising that the next movie in the franchise would turn out to be a remake of the first. However, this one is notable as it's written, directed and produced by Rob Zombie. Of course, that means you have the events of the first movie re-imagined science fiction movie through a lens of gore, sleeze and characters not (click blog post) even their own mother (blog post) would love. Oh boy...
